I was born in Caerphilly but moved to Aberdare over 5 years ago and have been a dedicated hearing care professional for over 6 years. My love of science and helping people resulted in my choice to become a hearing aid audiologist. Following completion of my foundation degree in De Montfort university Leicester, I worked for a global private company for 7 years before deciding I wanted to make an even bigger impact. TP Hearing.
I have an undeniable passion for improving people’s quality of lives through better communication and increased participation for all. This is why I love what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Motivation
My grandfather came to the U.K from India 74 years ago aged 17 to work in the factories. It was here, that he acquired his hearing loss in his early 30’s after operating loud machinery with no noise protection. Unfortunately, his progressively deteriorating hearing loss cast a shadow over much of his life. For many years communicating with him was a challenge and I watched him isolate himself from the world to save himself the embarrassment. Being so close to my grandad, I saw how important communication was and how devastating having a severe hearing loss could be. Fast track a few years, I’m proud to say he is 91 going on 19 with his TV and iPhone streaming Phonak hearing aids! He can now hear us all laughing and join in with family zoom calls and conversations again. The last 6 years have allowed me to reconnect with him, and for that I will always be privileged.
Other providers
Many clients have felt conned by other providers due to misleading advertisements and pressure to purchase hearing aids which they have never been satisfied with. It is unfortunate that most high street providers are governed by ties to certain manufacturers meaning clients are often sold what suits the provider and their sales targets and not you. At TP hearing I promise to treat you and your hearing care, the very same way I treat my family’s.
Available
Our clinic is open Monday to Thursday 9:30-5:30pm. Your enquiries will be dealt with by the hearing aid audiologist herself, so you gain access to the right advice when you need it.

We are all ears. Highly experienced and motivated in helping people to hear better, you can trust your hearing care needs will be in the safest clinical hands.

We don’t believe in misleading advertising and sales gimmicks. You’ll be treated with a professional, friendly, and honest approach.
